In June of 2007 The Kaylyn Elaine Warren Foundation was established to
fulfill the dream and last wish of Kaylyn E. Warren who was diagnosed with
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on October 15, 2005 at the age of 17. Kay’s
Dream was to help other kids suffering from all types of childhood cancers
through awareness and by opening Kay’s Kamp - the First Oncology Camp
in Delaware. At Kamp, kids battling cancer can experience some “normal” in
their now not-so-normal lives.
Kay’s Kamp became a reality on August 8-15, 2009.
Kaylyn battled leukemia with dignity and grace until her struggle
with cancer ended on March 13, 2007 when she was healed to
eternal life. Kay lived her short life to the fullest always with a
smile on her face and always knowing:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
